MICHAEL + CARLOS

This chic wedding at the historic Alexandria Ballrooms in Downtown Los Angeles unfolded across four uniquely designed spaces, each reflecting the couple’s love of travel and shared experiences. The ceremony featured an eye-catching runway-style processional, with the bridal party decked out in couture formal wear. The space was transformed with 500 yards of black velvet fabric, which cascaded down the aisle, leading to a dramatic chuppah beneath gold chandeliers. Cocktail hour set the tone with a custom bar, Latin-inspired hors d’oeuvres, and an art installation of 50 glass bowls, each housing a single black goldfish. The evening continued with a 360-degree digital display of exotic travel images paired with thematic music, offering a culinary journey that spanned from Turkey to Mexico.

After dinner, guests moved to the Mezzanine, transformed into a sleek club lounge featuring gold and black decor. Here, they were greeted with tray-passed custom shots and an art installation of 100 gold-dipped paper airplanes, a nod to the couple’s travel adventures. A Latin band played from a high-gloss stage with custom “love wall” graffiti backdrop, while a DJ duo alternated throughout the night. Chic lounges, high cocktail tables, and a stylish bar created the perfect atmosphere for guests to mingle and dance. As the night drew on, Latin-inspired late-night snacks and a beautifully crafted wedding cake added to the vibrant celebration. This wedding was an unforgettable fusion of high fashion, installation art, and global inspirations.
