FOUNDER | CREATIVE DIRECTOR

Kristin is the creative visionary behind Kristin Banta Events’ acclaimed experiential and transportive design work, an inspired team leader, and consummate collaborator, who always wins the trust and respect of colleagues and clients.  The maestro of executing ambitious—and often unconventional—concepts through the realities of production, her work reflects a bold, can-do attitude, where bringing a client’s vision to life is not only possible but paramount. Kristin is a leading authority in today’s world of luxury event planning, consulting with individuals and corporations on client service, experience, and conceptual design. She is also a contributing writer to numerous lifestyle publications, and a sought-after keynote speaker and expert panelist.

Kristin credits a background across multiple disciplines as key to her creativity, production savvy, and innate flexibility. After graduating from Pepperdine University, she worked in publishing, catering, interior and set design, film production, and eventually music marketing—as a graduate of UCLA’s Music Business Program, before launching Kristin Banta Events. Her enthusiasm and ease in front of the camera has also made her a television favorite.  She appeared as weekly wedding expert for Hallmark Channel’s Home & Family; host of the Style Network’s Keep The Party Moving; featured designer on the Mark Burnett/DreamWorks series for TNT—Wedding Day; host and designer for Syfy’s My Big Fat Geek Wedding; guest judge on the Food Network’s Cupcake Wars; guest on Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen; and in her own Bravo special—The Ringleader—which re-aired for an encore presentation as The Wedding Party.

Laura is a seasoned events producer and a trusted day-to-day liaison between KBE and its clients. With an impressive 13-year tenure, she has become a cornerstone of the company, blending strategic insight with exceptional interpersonal skills. Her five-star communication and proactive approach – guided by her personal motto to “always be in the solution” – ensure clients experience seamless planning and memorable outcomes. A Wisconsin native, Laura holds a degree in Business and brings deep expertise in public relations and social media to her role. She is celebrated for her ability to anticipate clients’ needs, nurture relationships, and enhance KBE’s brand presence across diverse platforms. Her contributions have played a pivotal role in shaping KBE’s reputation as a leader in luxury events. Beyond her professional expertise, Laura is passionate about mentoring team members and fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives. Her vision for brand development has positioned KBE as a leader in the luxury events space, consistently raising the bar for what’s possible in event production.

JORDAN PETERKOFSKY

PRODUCTION MANAGER
Jordan is a dynamic addition to the KBE team, bringing a wealth of experience from the luxury hospitality sector, particularly in Food and Beverage Management. A proud graduate of California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Jordan holds a degree in Public Relations with a minor in Event Planning & Experience Management. She further honed her expertise as a Food and Beverage Manager at the prestigious SLS Hotel Beverly Hills, where she developed a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences. During her time on the Central Coast, Jordan immersed herself in the wedding and catering industries, gaining comprehensive knowledge in event production and management. Her hands-on experience and meticulous approach have made her adept at orchestrating seamless, memorable events. Jordan’s dedication to excellence is evident in every project she undertakes, making her an invaluable asset to the KBE team. As a Production Manager for KBE, Jordan is responsible for managing all cycles of each event placed in her care, from venue and vendor management to guest experiences. She believes in prioritizing guests’ experiences above all else, a philosophy shaped by her academic background and professional journey.
