Inspired by a refined European guest list, this elegant seaside dinner at the Jonathan Club transported guests to a mid-century French Riviera escape, reimagined with a glamorous Los Angeles twist. The evening began with a warm welcome on the sand, where a fabric-draped tent housed a full bar and chic café-style seating in a soft, romantic palette of blush, vanilla, and champagne – elevated by touches of burnished metallics.

Inside the ballroom, the atmosphere shifted to a residential-inspired setting, with square and round tables draped in herringbone sequin and vanilla linens, complemented by mahogany wrought iron chairs and lush, layered tablescapes. At the center, a rose metallic dance floor gleamed beneath ambient lighting, framed by a custom wood-fronted stage where a smooth jazz band set the tone. An inviting fireside lounge with divans offered guests a cozy retreat to enjoy the music. A custom-designed bar with built-in seating stood as its own destination, flanked by bronze tower shelving styled with library books, florals, candlelight, and vintage fragrance bottles—a nod to the bride’s love of perfume. To close the night, guests indulged in a curated dessert display, where raised wood shelving showcased an array of sweets presented on ornate platters, elevated stands, and footed pedestals.
