The Disney Channel’s Zombies 2 premiere party, held on the iconic Disney lot, was a vibrant and immersive “Prawn” (Prom) event filled with energy and excitement. The festivities featured a lively cheerleader activation with pom-poms, megaphones, and energetic performances, setting the stage for the themed atmosphere. Guests were welcomed by costumed characters from the Zombies movie, adding a touch of magic as they entered. A special highlight was the “Shrimpy” costumed performer as well as werewolf characters and stationed for photo ops, while hair and makeup artists brought a thrilling werewolf transformation station with face paint, hair chalk, and clip-in hair extensions for guests to get into the spirit.

The event featured a mix of fun activations for kids, including a Yogurt Shoppe with unique froyo flavors like pink lemonade and charcoal chocolate, topped with an assortment of toppings. Guests could also enjoy custom mocktails like the Zombitini. Interactive areas included a dance floor with a DJ playing a high-energy set, while specialty areas were illuminated with dramatic lighting effects, including LED washes, atmospheric fog, and gobo projections that brought the theme to life.

Cheerleaders led warm-up sessions and joined guests in fun activation zones. The event’s design included dynamic lounges, custom linens, and fun décor inspired by the Zombies world, from the “Kelp” balloons to the textured projection on the dance floor. The celebration culminated with a screening of Zombies 2 and continued with a vibrant after-party where guests enjoyed food, music, and dancing with the cast.
