For this Searchlight premiere party, we immersed ourselves in the cinematic world of Wendy, drawing from its ethereal underwater aesthetic, untamed landscapes and cinematic naturalism to transform the Audubon Aquarium into a dreamlike realm.

Like the film, we leaned into a palette of deep blues, golden ambers and textured earth tones, evoking the contrast between nostalgia and the unknown. The space was designed to feel as though guests had stepped into an illuminated underwater realm – where light filtered through like sunrays beneath the waves, shadows danced like shifting tides and rustic, weathered textures hinted at the remnants of forgotten adventures. Layers of nautical elements, driftwood, and organic materials echoed the film’s sense of survival and discovery, while curated lighting transformed the setting into an ethereal, submerged world. Each piece in this gallery played a role in shaping an atmosphere that was both wild and intimate, evoking the magic of childhood lost and found again.
