This 60th birthday celebration was designed as a journey through the life of the dynamic host. Guests were taken on a sensory experience from space to space, each evoking the wide range of interests held by the guest of honor. As guests moved throughout the three floors of Perch – located within a historic downtown Los Angeles high rise – they experienced a constant transition of music from seven different acts and were treated to ever-changing food and beverage, complemented by dynamic and carefully curated décor that reflected the interests and passions of the host.

The event began on the 13th floor, where a jazz band set the tone while guests enjoyed specialty cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, and eclectic vintage décor. As they moved to the 15th floor rooftop, a pianist and harmonica player greeted them, offering stunning city views and sunset cocktails. Guests sampled hors d’oeuvres, a raw bar, bourbon, and cigars, while relaxing in curated lounge vignettes by the fireplace. After sunset, guests dined at themed tables for a three-course meal, accompanied by live music. The celebration culminated on the 16th floor rooftop with a dessert experience featuring Bananas Foster, liquid nitrogen ice cream, a dessert bar, coffee, cigars and an open bar, while a DJ provided lively tunes.
