Set amidst the rolling hills of the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa, this summer wedding embraced the natural beauty of its surroundings with a palette of rich earth tones – cream, oatmeal, plum, and brass – punctuated by vibrant greens and fuchsia. Guests entered the garden ceremony through patinated turquoise gates while sipping lavender lemonade, citrus iced tea, and Rosé champagne. The aisle, lined with terra cotta pots of herbs and white florals, led to a peaked timber chuppah draped in sheer earth-toned fabric and accented with hanging silver lanterns. Washed wooden vineyard chairs and soothing acoustic guitar created a serene atmosphere, while lush purple, white, and green florals added an elegant botanical touch to the processional.

Following the ceremony, guests were transported by golf cart to the Hacienda Plaza and Foyer for a cocktail hour that fused relaxed California style with Nashville charm. A guitar trio performed as guests enjoyed a variety of mocktails and sangrias served from rustic wooden bars styled with herbs, florals, and chalkboard menus. Lounge areas featuring wicker and leather seating, cowhide rugs, and vintage decor provided cozy spots to mingle. Inside, a custom spirit-sipping bar paid homage to the groom’s love for country-western flair, surrounded by masculine lounge vignettes, western photo booth props, and a library-style escort card display set within styled iron shelving.

The ballroom reception brought the outdoors in with a central wooden arbor draped in vines and lanterns above a brushed gold dance floor. Tables featured layered textures – flax and creamy linens, rattan chargers, batik and lavender napkins, brass vessels, turquoise bottles, and textural florals in shades of blush, aubergine, and ivory. A vanilla linen triple bar served as a dramatic focal point, flanked by luxe lounges and warm lighting. Guests danced the night away to the live band, a five-tier lavender and olive branch-adorned cake, and capped off the night with a reopened whiskey bar and late-night snacks.
