The Japanese American National Museum (JANM) Fundraiser at Vibiana was a refined celebration inspired by Japan’s serene zen gardens. Guests began their evening with a sophisticated cocktail hour, where rich walnut bars, sculptural bonsai trees, river rocks, and lush green moss set a tranquil yet modern tone. Inside the ballroom, natural oyster linens, wooden floral sculptures, and glowing candlelight created an elegant dining experience, while the JANM logo, set against a contemporary cherry blossom installation, provided a striking stage backdrop for speakers and performers.
The night concluded with a luxe afterparty, transforming the space into an intimate lounge with plush white boucle seating, warm wood accents, and interactive Japanese meditation sand boards. Cherry blossoms and black river rocks enhanced the clean, modern aesthetic, while ambient lighting and a DJ-curated soundtrack featuring celebrated Japanese artists set the perfect tone for an unforgettable evening.
