This intimate 60th birthday celebration unfolded at the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa’s Casa Elar Estate, where close friends gathered for a weekend of luxury and unforgettable moments. The evening began with an artisan cocktail reception by a custom white-upholstered bar, set against the serene backdrop of the Ojai landscape. Guests mingled by the pool as canapés were passed, enjoying the gentle evening air.

The formal dinner was held at a long table under an open canopy, draped with white woven fabric and accented with gold chain tiebacks. Gold chandeliers cast a warm glow over the gathering as guests took their seats in alternating white linen-back chameleon chairs and gold-framed dining chairs. Crisp white linens adorned the table, which was thoughtfully set with custom gold foil menus, high-sheen gold flatware, Riedel glassware, Carrington china with gold rims, and white hemstitch napkins secured with gold “geo” rings. Tiffany-blue polished ceramic vases, gold brocade votives, and delicate white dahlias completed the elegant tablescape. As the sun dipped below the horizon, guests indulged in a nine-course tasting menu, each dish paired with exquisite wines. The evening continued with post-dinner libations in the library, followed by a live performance from singer-songwriter Louise Goffin.
