Guests arrived at the Montage Laguna Beach to a sage green pre-ceremony reception on the Studio Lawn – champagne cocktail bar, curated lounge vignettes, and a solo guitarist framed by unobstructed ocean views. The ceremony followed along a curved acrylic runway-style aisle where lily pads floated between trailing grasses and water lilies, leading to a chuppah of water lilies and cascading green amaranthus.

Cocktail hour shifted the palette to soft aqua – a lotus-inspired bar with scalloped green and blue fascia, patina copper countertops, and suspended lotus sculptures overhead anchored the space, while guests moved between tray-passed cocktails, custom margarita bars, and a live sushi station amid lush lakeside greenery.

Dinner revealed a fully transformed ballroom – an immersive underwater world layered in cream draping, sea-inspired botanicals, lotus details, an ocean-floor-graphic dance floor, and two wave-shaped backlit bars simulating silhouettes of ocean plant life in motion. Lenticular seafloor menus, platinum-rimmed dinnerware, and ombré napkins completed the tableau. An exterior espresso martini lounge in monochromatic blue offered a quieter escape between sets.

The evening closed with servers bearing blue “revitalizing” shots leading guests into the afterparty – a metallic silver ballroom alive with haze, lasers, a pewter dance floor, and a curved paillette DJ booth. An electric, bioluminescent finale to a night built entirely around transformation.
