This wedding embraced fearless originality, celebrating the couple’s individuality with bold design choices that defied tradition. Featured on Bravo’s The Wedding Party, the celebration became a true reflection of the couple’s unique love story. Rather than opting for flowers and candles, they chose art installation inspired decor, playing with contrasts of positive and negative space in a striking black and white palette, punctuated by a unique indigo presentation. The ceremony aisle, lined with vibrant indigo knotted wood, led to a dramatic altar illuminated by an array of Edison bulbs. A long acrylic dining table served as the centerpiece of the reception, adorned with high gloss black antlers beneath a cascading display of bare bulbs. Above, an elaborate installation of five thousand indigo paper cranes floated overhead, captivating guests throughout the evening.
Following a recessional accompanied by a live Green Day video, guests were treated to tray passed dessert bites before enjoying a seated breakfast—chosen by the couple as their favorite meal. The evening’s most intimate moment came as the couple shared their first dance to Damien Rice’s “Eskimo”, accompanied by a soulful opera singer, creating a memory that would linger long after the night ended.
