Inspired by a sophisticated European guest list, this elegant seaside dinner at the Jonathan Club transported all to a mid-century French Riviera with a glamorous LA twist. Guests were greeted on the sand in a fabric-draped tent with full bar and cafe-style seating, all in a palette of blush, vanilla, and champagne, balanced by burnished metallics. Dinner in the ballroom, surrounding a rose metallic dance floor, was transformed residential-style with square and round tables draped in herringbone sequin and vanilla linens, mahogany wrought iron chairs, and luxurious tablescapes. A custom wood-fronted stage provided the backdrop for a smooth jazz band, and an inviting divan lounge area allowed guests to gather fireside and enjoy the music. A custom bar with seating and bronze tower units styled with library accessories, florals, candlelight, and fragrance bottles as a nod to the bride’s passion for perfume, provided an additional destination. Following dinner, guests enjoyed a special dessert area— raised wood shelving with delectables presented on ornate platters, stands and footed pedestals.
